Directed the trade between England and the Colonies which angered the colonists and they avoided thef act by smuggling goods. -
proclomation of 1763
The proclomation was to temperarily keep the colonists from moving westward past the Appalachain Mountains, which angered colonists who had already claimed land there. -
Sugar act
This act had lowered the tax on imported molasses in hopes of ending smulgging goods and it angered the colonists because it allowed officers to enter their homes at any time to search for smuggled goods. -
Stamp Act
every printed document must be paid for and when it was it got a stamp on it which made the colonists angery and led to debates, but also mob acts like tar and feathering -
declaratory act
it allowed parliiment to make laws for the colonists and made them angery because they were able to tax them with other taxes later. -
Townshend Act
Parliment puts taxes on: oil, glass, paper. paint, lead, and tea so colonists begin to boycott british goods again -
Tea Act
East Inda Company tries to sell their tea, but is turned down and held in port and shortly after there is the boston tea party to show them what they thought about that act -
Coercive Acts
shuts down massechusetts government for vengence over the boston tea party which made the colonists angery and they engaged in protests against the acts -
Quebec act
this act allowed Quebec to expand which angered the colonists because stopped westward movement and egnited the Revolutionary War
