    The 1918 virus polymerase increased activity rapidly. The virus caused immune responses that caused the whole population to fear the virus. Although wearing a mask was not mandated, it did help decrease the spread of the disease through mouth and nose. Many doctors asked their patients to wear a mask in hopes of reducing the spread.     Swine Flu Cleaning Protocols
    According to the health department, 20 cases were found and will only grow; out of fear the school would be infected, the principal prompted sanitization for the private school only hours after the health department released this statement and after knowing that some students had been to Mexico for spring break (Hartocollis).

    A COVID-19 Graduation
    Students graduating in 2020 missed out on several life experiences. Many did not have a prom or graduation, while others missed out on networking opportunities, but most importantly, many missed out on making memories that will last a lifetime. Due to COVID-19, all graduating students were required to be six feet apart and wear a mask over their mouth and nose.
