OUR MEDIA TIMELINE timeline.

(SHIELA) At an early age I was exposed to flashcards, educational books and charts for kids by my parents. With this medias I was able to learn the basic things like how to count, identify colors , numbers and sounds.They teach me and my brother by using this kind of media for us to grow and to prosper.
(ALVIN) It helps me to read letters and numbers when I was a child.

(SHIELA) Educational books was used by my parents for me to learn and see pictures. And because of this kind of media I was able to read, and know different kinds of stories. Also, it is very useful to get information and ideas up until now in the present days.
(ALVIN) My mother used it when she teach me how to read. Books is very useful because it gives you a lot of information that is really reliable even until now.

(SHIELA) Same with the flashcards and books through this media I was able to learn and grow. This helped me identify things and objects as well as differentiate them through charts and diagrams.

(ALVIN) Charts help me during my kindergarten days because I learn more if their is a visual or charts that I can see. So it helps me to understand more things.

(SHIELA) We were also exposed to radios during this time. Listening to musics and news are the things we usually do with the radio.
(ALVIN) Radio is very useful until now because it gives information that is latest and reliable. I listen to radio especially when I want to clarify if there is no class.

(SHIELA) At the age of three I was exposed to newspaper by my parents, grandparents and aunts. Most of the time I would see my Lolo using this kind of media every morning and I also tried to answer the games on the newspaper like Sudoku and crossword.
(ALVIN) I use newspaper to gather some information because it is more reliable than the information that I get in social media and my father wants to read it also.

(SHIELA) During this time I wa also exposed to the television. Through this kind of media I was able to enjoy watching cartoons and educational shows.
(ALVIN) It helps me to relax and spend my leisure time watching cartoon networks and other movies

(SHIELA) My parents and aunts used cellphones for communication and during this time we were not allowed to use cellphones but now, I already have my own phone and it's very useful in m studies because through this I was able to research my assignments.
(ALVIN) It is very useful for me because it helps me to communicate my parents because they don't like to use laptop and social media so they just text or call me.

(SHIELA) With this media we were able to take photos and videos to capture every moment. My parents and other relatives exposed me to this kind of media by taking our pictures when we were still young.
(ALVIN) I find camera a very useful thing because it keeps a lot of memories whether it is sad or the happiest journey of my life.

(SHIELA) My cousin used to bring his game boy every time he would visit at my house and since then if he would come and visit me and my brother we would borrow his game boy and played with it until it is dead.
(ALVIN) I play it with my brother when we are bored and after we're getting scolded by our mother.

(SHIELA) I used dictionary during my elementary days because at that time I am not capable of using a computer and all I have is the dictionary which was very thick and contains so many words.
(ALVIN) t helps me to find words that is very unfamiliar when I don't have an internet. it is very important to read dictionary for your vocabulary

(SHIELA) My family used to used this kind of media and every time they used it there are songs and also games that you can play. My father used to play songs using the DVD player and at an early age I also used to sing songs of Sarah Geronimo, The Carpenters and other famous artist during that time using different CD's bought by my parents.
(ALVIN) My mother wants to sing so she wants to buy CD's and play it. And we can't afford to go in cine to watch movies so we just by CD's

(SHIELA) I often see my older cousins used computers to play games and also for educational purposes. When I was in elementary we were taught on how to use the computers and since then I practiced using it every time we had a chance to.
(ALVIN) It helps me a lot during this days especially when we have research and reporting. When I want to edit in Microsoft I use computer and also when I want to play.

(SHIELA) My mother bought an alarm clock for my father because his work starts at 12 o'clock in the morning and usually if the alarm won't go off he would usually end being late. So the clock is very important for me and my parents so that we can manage the time and also to prevent from being late in any occasion.

(ALVIN) It is very important for me because I usually weak in terms of time management so I need to have a clock every time so that I will be guided every time.

(SHIELA) I used this kind of storage because it is handy and can store images, videos, musics and files. And I used this until now to store my research files and other important things like photos, powerpoint, and videos.
(ALVIN) I use flash drive to store files that is very useful to my studies and when I want to print some pictures or documents I use it.

(SHIELA) I was influenced by my older cousins and friends to used different kinds of social medias like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and so much more. It helped me communicate with other people and also in my studies.
(ALVIN) Social Media is very important especially to the new generation. I need it so that I will be updated and not being outcast from the group. I helps me also gather some information whether it is bad or good.

(SHIELA) My aunt bought a laptop for my older cousins to used so that they can research their assignments and also for them to enjoy by playing games.
(ALVIN) It is very helpful to me because it is portable than the computer and it is easy to use. It makes my studies easier.

(SHIELA) I used this kind of storage keeper because it is handy and can store images, videos, musics and files which can be very helpful if you have low storage in your device. And I used this until now after my aunt bought one for her mobile phone.
(ALVIN) It is very important to store my pictures, music and videos when my phone storage full. It is very useful for me since I want to capture every moment in my life.

(SHIELA) When we were in Grade 9 we were able to use this kind of media. We performed our dance accompanied by music with the used of the speaker and it was a great help because it was wireless and handy and also easy to use.
(ALVIN) Now a days, majority of our gadget is wireless so when the Bluetooth Speaker was introduce I feel so happy because no need for you to find a wire and it is very portable
