In 2016, we partner with the RUSD Adult School to offer ESL classes on our campus. These classes will support our parents as they acquire English and teach basic computer literacy skills.

In 2016, we advance closer to our goal of one digital device per student. In doing so, we provide our students who do not have access to technology at home, an opportunity to use and learn computer literacy skills. This will advance us closer to our goal of technology access 24/7 for Highland students.

In 2107, we utilize virtual field trip technology to take our students beyond the confines of the classroom, their city, state, and US, to watch their reading and learning come to life.

In 2018, we expand partnerships with businesses that teach our teachers the kinds of technology and skills that businesses will require of RUSD students, giving them purpose and direction for the teaching and learning they will impart in our students.

In 2019, we redesign our playgrounds with a focus on creating safe places for students to play, exercise, and monitor fitness levels.

In 2020, we complete the redesign of our buildings which will result in a redesign of classroom space. Our classrooms will reflect an environment that supports learning and is aligned with high levels of student engagement.
