On wagon traveling to America
Ccause/Effect: Having to leave my family is going to be hard, but there will be lots of opportunity for land and jobs in America. My brother and I are traveling by horse and wagon to America for an opportunity to find land and a job that pays. We also will be settling in Boston. We want to live in California. -

Arriving to America
Cause/Effect: There are a lot of rich people that I have already met while at America, they are all bullies and mean to us, because we aren't rich. It is good that we are finally here and we will have to settle for a little while, but not for good, because we aren't done traveling. -
Getting a Job in the U.S.
Cause/Effect: Now in the U.S. there are a lot of jobs they have to offer and I think highly of that, just one problem, lots of those jobs have very little pay and are very hard to get or require lots of hard work. My brother and I are willing to work, but we need money desperately and having a job that doesnt pay more than $1.75 a month, just can't work. We did eventually get one though and it happens to pay a good $4.50 a month each. That is a good pay! -
Buying Horses and a Place of Settlement
Cause/Effect: Well while we are settling here for a little while, we managed to buy some horses and a little home for just the two of us. The only problem was that the stuff we had to buy was quite expensive and we had to save a good amount of dough for this. Overall we are now starting to save up enough money to move west, as we have just bought horses, so it will be easier to travel now. -
Traveling to the West
Cause/Effect: We were finally moving and going to the place we originally wanted to go, which was the west/California. And the only problem we have this time is that it is a long way from here and it could take a long time, otherwise we have food, clothes, and tents for ourselves and we are set to go on a trip. -
Arriving to the West
Cause/Effect: At last, we were finally here! After all the work that my brother and I did, it finally paid off. Now from here there was a lot of work to do, building a house, getting a job, and mainting food and resources. But we had moved fairly close to a small town named shallony village. From here my brother and I got two seperate jobs that payed $3.75 each a month. Not bad, not bad at all. -

Hello again there friends my name is hansen fogwiff and my brother and I are here to tell you that we are doing fine and we are very happy to be in the west for the rest of our lives. We have better jobs that pay up to five dollars a month and we are doing excellent. Goodbye my friends and Merry Christmas!
