Jim Thorpe was a native american athlete who played many different sports and was an olympic gold medalist he won the gold medal in a men's decathlon. he played football for the canton bulldogs,cleveland tigers,oorang indians,rock island Independents x2, new york giants, Tampa cardinals, Canton Bulldogs, and the chicago cardinals. he was born in oklahoma and died in california. Event 1. He played 2 seasons in the mlb then competed in the olympics and got his medals taken away -

Oklahoma became a state on November 16,1907. It seems to be the place to live because it has deserts, forests, and prairies its home to many different types of people especially the indians there it is rich with indian culture and so called "cowboys" -
The Dust Bowl
The dust bowl happened during the 1930's what happened was the farmers did stuff to the grass so the grass couldn't hold the dirt so then the droughts came and then all the dry dust blew up from the ground and created the so called dust bowl -
Oklahoma City bombing
The Oklahoma City bombing happened on April 19,1995 when a ex soldier went crazy and drove a car into a building the car had a bomb in it he blew it up a lot of people died that day it was the most deadly terrorist attack on U.S. soil up until 9/11. The man who committed the crime was Timothy McVeigh.
