    William Bradford and His group of pilgrims consisting of 102 passanger and 150 crew members begin their journey to The new land known in modern day as America. Their voyage at sea woud last several months.

    Trouble Aboard the ship
    Somewhere along their journey the pilgrims were face with thier first problem. One of the ships main masts had cracked. If the Broke entirely the ship could be stranded. But the pilgrims worked together and with the help of "God" they were able to fix the mast and continue on their journey.
  • Bully on the Ship

    Bully on the Ship
    A young man who was apprenticed by a sailor on the ship was telling the pilgrims on the ship that they were filthy and would die of disease before the ship reached the new land. He degraded and disrespected them. But God punihsed the young man for his disgracefullness making the young man ill. The pilgrims helped care for the young man even after he showed his hatred thowards them. Even with being in care the young man soon died from the illness.
  • Landing at Plymouth

    After almost two months at sea the mayflower finally lands at Cape Cod. Although they had finally made it they would have to start building their new town in this new land. There was much work to do and hardship to still come.
  • The Great Sickness

    During their first winter at plymouth a great sickness arose and spread throughout the pigrims village. The sickness killed all but 20 of the 102 that arrived. Only 7 of the 150 crew members survived too. Those who were not infected by the disease and were till able bodied helped the sick with everyday chores. Hunting for food, washing clothes, getting wood for fire.

    Relations with the Native Americans
    It was Four months after the pilgrims landed at plymouth that they had their first encounter with the Native Americans. An Indian named Samosett confronted the pilgrims in their puritan and he spoke to htem in english. Samosetts tribe the Wampanoag had also been affected by the disease that had spread throughut the pilgrims village. Many of his people died too. The two groups of people needed eachother and they new this. So they came together and aided eachother in their time of need.
