  • Death of CDS

    The death of CD’s began when the iPod was first released ,before this point CD’s where used for movies,shows, video games,and albums. The iPod removed the need for music on cds,streaming services did the same with movies and tv,and purchasing games on consoles “app stores” made the cd obsolete with it’s decline beginning in 2015 going down by 11%
  • Paper maps

    First the gps removed the need for paper maps but soon maps would come to the smartphone
  • The fall of wired headphones

    The fall of wired headphones began when beats(by Dr Dre ) began releasing wireless Bluetooth headphones soon apple would follow up and currently Sony seems to be the biggest producer of wired headphones but has made wireless ones also.
  • Death of cable tv

    The death of cable tv began around 2011 and has been continued into modern day ,now with infinite streaming services and pirating sites the need for cable is lower than ever and we might be seeing the death of cinema in the coming decades
  • Flip phones

    The decline in flip phones began in 2008 with the release of the iPhone soon smart phones took over and as of 2015 almost everyone has a smartphone
  • Flashlights

    Now that everyone has a smartphone that opens the soles of what u can carry around on that phone.today most phones come with flashlights installed or with an app .
  • The ipod

    We have come full circle we started with the iPod killing the need for CD’s but now streaming services for music such as Spotify,Apple Music,mixer,TIDAL,and YouTube music have essentially replaced the iPods music streaming services
  • Written letters

    Today everyone has access to a computer or phone meaning that a simple email gets rid of the need for written letters
  • Cigarettes

    My generation was almost the first generation to be completely cigarette free the only people who use cigarettes are older and when they’re gone cigarettes will be obsolete.sadly nicotine companies have found ways to target my generation.
