Stats say payphones started going obsolete all the way back in 1970, less and less being placed in the US. -

By 1995/early 2000s the internet started to blow up and a lot of movies went online. -
Fax Machines
Fax machines have been replaced by texting and emailing and have now been obsolete since 1996 according to statistics. -
Landlines
Cellphones became obsolete around the 90s-early 2000s especially when the first iphone launched with it's touchscreen. -
Maps
Maps went obsolete around 2001 when car companies started implementing them into their vehicles. -
VCR's
In 2003, VCR'S started to die out because of online movies and DVD'S. -
CD'S
By 2005 apple had outpaced CD sales with the iPod, CD'S then started to die out -
Floppy disks
Floppy disks have been overtaken by "the cloud" or icloud saving and have been obsolete since 2010, in 2010 apple also announced they're stopping the production. -
Paper
Even though paper is still used a lot in schools, some places have everything online, for example this intro to business class is paper free, all work is online, I say paper starting going more obsolete during COVID too with everyone learning from their computers.
