Video game console
The start of video game consoles began in early 1970s. Ralph H Baer developed the concept of simple games being able to be played on a Television screen which led to the invention of the first console Magnavox Odyssey created by Sanders Associates in 1972. This paved the way for people to be able to enjoy video games at home versus having to go to an arcade. -
Desktop Computer
The first desktop computer was created Phil Ray and Gus Roche of Computer Termination Corporation which they dubbed their invention the Datapoint 2200. This led the way for inventions like the modern desktop computer we have today which allows us to be able to complete more complex solutions and provides us with high speed communication capabilities -
Mobile Phone
The first handheld mobile phone was displayed by Martin Cooper in 1973. It gave way to being able to complete calls within a certain radius without needing to be connected to a landline. This changed how people communicate as this invention has continued to develop and grow to where people can now have conversations on the other side of the planet with ease -
Handheld game console
The start of being able to play video games on the go began with the Invention of the Handheld game console Auto Race which was invented in 1976 by George J. Klose. This gave way to future of handheld gaming which allowed people to play their favorite games on the go with later inventions like the Gameboy and Nintendo DS. -
Smartphones
The IBM Simon which is the first smart phone created by IBM was available to consumers on August 16,1994. Its predecessor, The Angler created by Frank Cordova in 1992 paved the way for this smart phone to come into fruition which opened the door for later smartphones which allows the functions of a computer with limited capabilities. This allowed people to keep in touch with the world on a new precedented level.
