    This is a project where its operation is based mainly on aquaponics. The project mainly focuses on the delivery of fresh fish and vegetables. Urban organics was founded by Fred, CEO of Minneapolis. Urban organics uses a system where the fish waste is used to fertilize plants to supply salad greens. The fish is then given to the fish markets are the grocery. The project was found in 2006. The project finished in 2009, this project is planned, unique, temporary and has a deliverable.

    The project was started by Jacqueline Cramer and Glenn Herlihy.A food forest is a gardening technique or land management system, which mimics a woodland ecosystem by substituting edible trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. Fruit and nut trees make up the upper level, while berry shrubs, edible perennials and annuals make up the lower levels. The project is unique, temporary and deliverable. In this project the cost is fixed, quality is optimised and time is accepted.

    Prinzessinnengarten
    The Prinzessinnengarten is a project based on urban farming, which was set up at the former Berlin wall,between the unused subway stops and aging apartment blocks.The project was founded by the person known as Robert shaw in 2009.The project even though was set up in Berlin,the whole operation could be moved to a different location.This is possible due to the plantation of all the vegetables in recycled tetra packs,rice sacks etc.

    Lufa Farms
    Lufa farms is a project where vegetables are grown in rooftop greenhouses which are currently situated in more than one acres, they produce a range of wide vegetables. What makes Lufa stand out is they produce local goods and these goods are delivered to a large number of customers weekly. The Lufa farms were found by Mohammed Hage in 2009. As part of his research work at local college Faculdade Cantareira, he designed a way to turn roofs, balconies and paved areas across the city into miniature farms. Victorino turns large roof tiles upside down, creating a long, V-shaped trough that can be filled with soil. The project is unique, temporary and deliverable.     The World’s First Commercial Vertical Farm Opens in Singapore
    Think of it as a plant skyscraper. The equipment holds up to 32 trays of greens — including lettuce, spinach and a variety of Asian greens — on a tall, narrow A-frame structure. The plants slowly rotate, as if on a Ferris wheel, so each tray gets sufficient exposure to sunlight.     Assistance to the farmers
    HDFC bank provided assistance to the farmer in soil and water conservation, water management, construction, renovation and maintenance of water harvesting structures for improving surface and groundwater availability, in partnership with the Village Committees. Company existing structures like ponds, wells, and constructed check-dams. This activity has led to not only better agricultural produce but also to an increase in water availability for domestic use and rise in the water level.

    Cairn India perseveres for holistic development of local community by focusing on farm development. The program is aimed to increase the productivity of farming, 21 graduates were selected to do this project. Extra training were given to these people. The training involves classes which explain about the modern farming technique and about latest farming machineries. In the project they done dairying, goat farming and mushroom farming. The project was fully success full.

    Marathon farming is a technic introduced in Philadelphia, in this project they found some vacant space in the city. There were 40000 vacant properties in Philadelphia and they utilised these vacant space for farming. The food produced from the farm is sold in the farm itself and remaining is taken to the Marathon restaurant. It was a unique project for the city and the project does not has a single vision.

    The expense of electricity and lack of efficiency of existing pumping systems make irrigation a hardcore task. Solar water pumps are emerging as both a reliable and clean energy solution. Bharat heavy electricals limited launched the “irrigation support project” and installed numerous solar water pumps so as to encourage the use of solar energy for irrigation by the farmers in India. This a very unique and sustainable approach which is well planned in execution, offering a deliverable result.
