Oceanus Hopkins was born on the Mayflower in 1620. The Mayflower Compact was formed, this helped make laws for the new colony. -
The First Thanksgiving
The first Thanksgiving was held the new colony, Plymouth. Colonists became friends with the Native Americans, Squanto taught them how to grow food. The Pilgrims gave them a feast for thanks. -
William Penn
William Penn was a Quaker. He actually got thrown in jail for it. William Penn also named Pennsylvania in 1681.
