Agricultural Adjustment Administration was an act that was supposed to reduce agricultural production. Then if they obeyed they would give them money on the side. AAA is still in act today. -
Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA)
Tennessee Valley Authority was about the federal government that would build series of dams to prevent flooding and to sell electricity. TVA is still in act today. -
National Recoverey Administration (NRA)
NRA was a prime New Deal agency established by U.S. president Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1933. The goal was to eliminate "cut-throat competiotion" by bringing industry, labor, and government together to create codes of "fair practices" and set prices. National Recoverey started in June 1933 and ended in June 1935. -
Civil Works Administration (CWA)
The Civil Works Administration was supposed to help civilians get a job and help pay with money. Civil Works Administration helped a loit of people get jobs so they were not unemployed, so they could help their family. CWA ended on March 21, 1934. -
National Labor Relations Board (Wagner Act)
The National Labor Relations Board was supposed to help with elections for labor union. So practically it would investigate unfair labor practices, so that the "bosses" could not get away with abuse. This act is still in act today. -
Social Security Administration (SSA)
Social Security Administration help with people who were unemployed. It also helped with deaf, blind, and disabled children. This act would give them money because other poeple who had jobs would have to pay for them. This act is still in act today. -
United States Housing Authority (USHA)
United States Housing Authority was a housing program that gave low-income families a house. A lot of people got help by this act, but sadly this act ended in 1942.
