Relief: The Goal of this act was to stop the panic and stabilize the banking system. Created a bank holiday for the rest of the week, closing banks for a few days. Was the first act to appear on FDR's fireside chats. FDR said that the people's money would be safer in a reopened bank versus "under the mattress." -

Relief: "CCC" Made jobs for maintenance of public lands. They planted trees, built roads, and many other things that lasted over a nine year span, benefiting three million people. -

Recovery: Known as the "Truth in Securities Law" it required corporations to register securities with the Federal Trade Commission to prevent fraudulent issues. -

Recovery: It recognized a state of industrial emergency, suspended anti-trust law, authorized the president to address the emergency by the composition of industrial codes. The code was created to set trade practices, wages, hours, and production quotas. -

Relief: Was a relief to Indians from New Deal congressmen who made ways of life easier for American Indians by self-government and responsibility, thus benefiting them economically. -
Second New Deal: Works Progress Administration
Recovery: Focused on young people and minorities for jobs in the fields of building bridges, schools, libraries, sewer systems, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. -
Second New Deal: National Labor Relations Act
Reform: Called the Wagner act, and it guaranteed worker the right to bargain collectively with their employers, prohibited employers from firing workers after a strike, and restricted other anti-union tactics. -

Relief: Gave grants of money to relieve poverty levels, workers comp, unemployment insurance, and aid to families with dependent children. The federal government also made a social security system that guaranteed pensions to millions of Americans. -

Recovery: This act allowed the government to pay farmers to reduce production to conserve soil and prevent erosion, which would cause floods or the impairment of reservoirs. -
Second New Deal: Second Agricultural Adjustment Act
Reform: The AAA was a United States federal law of the New Deal era designed to boost agricultural prices by reducing surpluses. It also discovered problems by the court and allowed agricultural support programs to continue, while adding a provision for crop insurance.
