    The FDR administration creates the Security and exchange commission. The purpose of the commission is to enforce the federal securities laws, proposing securities rules, and regulating the securities industry.

    The FDR administration puts the Federal deposit insurance commission into place. It’s job is to insures deposits into banks and thrifts in the case of a bank failure.
  • Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC)

    A program that offered unemployed young men 18–25 years old the opportunity to work under the direction of the forestry service planting trees, fighting forest fires, and building reservoirs.

    A government program that helped people find jobs and gain money, but it didn’t do anything significant.
  • Civil Works Administration (CWA)

    Created the CWA, a better version of FERA. Employed over 4 million people
  • Federal housing Authority (HUD)

    Federal housing Authority (HUD)
    A government program created by the FDR. It’s goal is to standardize for construction and underwriting and insures loans made by banks and other private lenders for home building. Improve housing standards and conditions.
  • National labor relations board

    National labor relations board
    The FDR administration creates the National Labor relations board. It’s purpose is to enforce U.S. labor law in relation to collective bargaining and unfair labor practices.
  • Social security Act

    Social security Act
    FDR and the administration signed the act which created the Social Security program as well as insurance against unemployment.
