    Create a Totalitarian state.

  • Hitler become Chancellor

    Hindenburg and Von Papen name Hitler as Chancellor of Germany. Since they thought that they could control him better by giving him more power.

  • Reichstag Fire

    The Reichstag building burnt down, and Hitler blamed the Communists. The Nazis used their power to arrest the Communists.

  • The Depression

    Stock marcket crushes. Many people were unemployed, bank industries were failing, farmers couldn't grow crops.

  • The Enabling Act

    This allowed Hitler to make laws without asking for permission to the Reichstag. This made Hitler a virtual dictator, he could create any law he wanted, without needing to consult it with Hindenburg.

  • The Night of the Long Knives

    The SS troops broke into Rohm's home and other leading figures in the SA, and Hitler arrested them. He accused Rohm of plotting to overthrow and kill him.

  • The Fuhrer

    Hindenburg died, and Hitler took over as Supreme Leader, (Fuhrer) of Germany. The entire army swore loyalty to Hitler as Fuhrer.

  • Economic recovery and rearmament

    Hitler announced a Four-Year Plan, since his next plan was the rearmament and therefore be ready for war.

  • The Olympics

    Hitler, to hide its racist ideas, was hosting the Olympics. This made other people think of Germany as a peaceful country.

  • The swing Kids

    Jazz and swing lovers of about 14 to 18 years old, opposing the Nacional-Socialist ideology. (Hitler's Youth)

  • Second World War

    Germany starts the invasion to Poland and forms alliance with Italy and Japan.

  • Invasion to the USSR

    Germany invaded the USSR.

  • Invasion to the Soviet Union

    Hitler invaded the Soviet Union.

  • Death camps

    They started killing all the Jewish people. Young children were killed immediately. Also homosexuals were sent to this camps.

  • The July Bomb plot

    Hitler was leading Germany into ruin. Staffenberg left a bomb in Hitler's conference room, with the idea of killing Hitler. This failed because of the low organization.

  • Bombing in Germany

    The bombing of Dresden killed many peopla and this left the German people in a desesperate state.

  • Gad Beck

    Many Jewish managed to leave Germany before the killing started. Gad Beck led the Jewish resistance to the Nazis in Berlin. Finally he was captured and was executed on the same day.
