    Brainpop 60,000 Native Americans were forced off their land and marched nearly 2000 kilometers west.The tribes removed included the Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickaswa, Creek, and Seminole Indians. The Choctaw were the first to be removed, while the Seminoles were the last having decided to fight back.

    Trail of Death859 Potawatomi native americans are forced to move by US forces to Osawatomie, KS. The Potawatomie nation was from Twin Lakes near Plymouth, IN. Forty died from typhoid fever and the froced march itself. On August 30th, General John Tipton and 100 soldiers began rounding up the Indians and buning their crops so they would not return.
