The National Council of Negro Women is an “organization of organizations” that enlightens, inspires and connects more than 2,000,000 women and men. NCNW was founded in 1935 by Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, an influential educator, for more then fifty years. After Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune died everyone gathers and made holidays for her and about her, she also had made a holiday that kept the "organization of organizations" together a family with love for one another. -
Bethune/Height Recognition Program
The Bethune/Height Recognition Program honors Bethune Achievers (persons who contribute $300.00 or more), Life Members, and Legacy Life Members who contribute, join or upgrade through the Program. The Bethune/Height Recognition Program was founded in 1974 and has grown into a great national movement. Its uniqueness comes from the annual opportunity it gives individuals to live the legacy of NCNW’s Founder, Mrs. Mary McLeod Bethune by contributing to the work for which she dedicated her life. -

NCNW is offering a digital course, #Adulting 101, to educate and challenge young voters. In this course, young voters decide for themselves whether or not to vote. NCNW’s course makes a compelling argument designed to explain why they should vote. -
The 85th Anniversary Symposium
