  • I was born

    I was born
I was born to dear and loving parents in Arizona. I had a full head of hair and was one of the largest of my five siblings. I was also the favorite.
  • Kindergarten

    Kindergarten
I don't remember much from Kindergarten, but I did learn the most important skill ever: reading. I'd read small books before, but it was kindergarten that I learned to actually read and comprehend full sentences.
  • Beginning Interest in Comics

    Beginning Interest in Comics
My family had several books with collections of different newspaper comic strips, including 'Calvin and Hobbes' and 'Foxtrot'. They were easy to read and amusing, so young me began to read them, especially when eating. (This unfortunately destroyed the books because I was a clumsy eater) I decided I wanted to do stuff like this and began drawing my own comics. They started out as poorly drawn, no dialogue, cheap rip-offs, but I've began to create my own characters and stories.
  • Watched Star Wars

    Watched Star Wars
I don't remember my first time watching Star Wars, I just remember Jabba the Hutt was disgusting and almost made me hate the series. But then my family saw Revenge of the Sith for my Dad's birthday, and that, combined with the Clone Wars miniseries and Lego Star Wars made me gain a better appreciation for the series (except Jabba) now I count it as one of my favorite movies of all time.
  • Discovered History

    Discovered History
When I was 7 or so, I started watching War movies and documentaries. I never knew how awesome history could be. My favorite was World War 2, and I quickly watched or read any and all material I could find on he subject. I still love history, although I've moved on from other areas besides World War 2.
  • Met my best friend

    Met my best friend
In fourth grade I met my best friend, ironically I first met him when I accidentally tore a page in his book. Then we had P.E. and were paired up. Then we discovered we both liked Star Wars. And its still lasted today.
  • Discovered I can write

    Discovered I can write
in fifth grade my teacher, one of my favorite teachers of all time, had the entire class write a small story. I ended up writing a 10 page WWII action thriller. (Not really) But from that assignment I learned I have a natural knack for writing and have kept doing it to this day.
  • Played 'Halo' For the First Time

Played 'Halo' For the First Time
One time I invited a friend over to my house, and we played 'Lego Star Wars' on the Wii. It was fun, but I felt like it was beneath my age level. So I inherited my brother's old Xbox, saved up some money, and bought a copy of 'Halo Reach' and a headset. The best memories of elementary school are my friends and I playing Halo and talking over the internet. We've all moved on, some out of the state, but we still sometimes play together.
  • Began High School

    Began High School
high School always seemed so far away, like an unimaginable distance away, something a little kid will never experience. But at last it finally happened. I didn't know what to expect from High School, but i'm glad I went, the lessons, friends and experiences I've learned here are more valuable than anything else.
  • Began to really understand leadership

    Began to really understand leadership
When I was a sophomore, it was my second year of taking JROTC, and i was placed in a class of Freshmen alongside a junior, who commanded the class. I was second-in-command because I had one years of experience. Here is where I really learned leadership, how to help people, what and when to say something, and how to (attempt) to resolve conflicts. I'm not JROTC anymore, but the two years I took still have a massive impact on me.
  • Listened to Sabaton for the First Time

Listened to Sabaton for the First Time
Once I was on the computer listening to music on YouTube. I came across an animated video, and curious I clicked on it. The animation was from some movie I don't remember, but the music, the music was unforgettable. Luckily creator put in the description the name of the song, and the band. I typed the band name, Sabaton, into the search bar, and from there I've been a huge fan, most of the music on my phone is actually their songs.
  • Got my Driver's License

    Got my Driver's License
I'll be 100% honest here, the Driver permit's test took me 4 tries to finally pass. But for weeks before the driver test, I took classes with a local driving school. And when the day came, I passed with flying colors, not single point off. Driving is so liberating, it's pure freedom.
  • Began Reading 'Southern Victory'

    Began Reading 'Southern Victory'
While scrolling through the endless pages of Wikipedia, I came across an article about an Alternate History series, one where the confederacy wins the Civil War. It pegged my interest, since I was attempting to write my own Alternate History book. i scrolled through pages of synopsis and characters, and was smitten. I immediately put the first book in the Amazon cart and waited. The series, written by Harry Turtledove, has become a standard I hope my own writing can reach.
  • Graduation

    Graduation
Finally, after 4 long years I graduate from High School and enter the real world. The thought terrifies me and I don't have a solid, cemented idea of what i'm doing after High School. I do know I won't become another face in the crowd.
  • The Future

    The Future
What's the future hold? What'll it be like 5 years from now (at the time of writing)? I don't know, no one does I suppose. I don't know if i'll be serving in the armed forces, going to college, win the lottery and become super rich, guess i'll just have to see.
