The concordat of 1801 was signed in Paris by Napoleon and the pope. This was signed to regulate the Catholic Church in the Holy Roman Empire. This helped and hurt Napoleon. -
Consul for life π©
Napoleon becomes the first Consul of life and declares the succession of his rule to his son, even tho he does not have any children yet. This is good for Napoleon. -
Napoleonic Code π¨
A combination of ideas from the enlightenment that are still being used today. Took all rights away from women. -
Declared self emperor π©
Napoleon takes the crown from the pope and crowns himself emperor. This was good for Napoleon and commoners were largely unaffected. -
Battle of Trafalgar π₯
The French and Spanish naval fleet fought the British fleet and the British won. This led to a Napoleon defeat. -
Abolished Holy Roman Empire π©
Napoleon defeats the whole Holy Roman Empire. This is good for him and he has pretty much all the power in Europe. -

People from Spain didnβt agree with the ideas of Napoleon and the French and rebelled. This was obviously not great for Napoleon because he didnβt want any backlash on his plans. -
Invasion of Russia π₯
The French are forced to retreat because the Russians burned down fields and crops. They are beat by the Russians on their way out. -
Battle of Nations at Leipzig π₯
Napoleon takes a big loss and Frace loses all power after this battle. -
