    The national assembly was what began the revolution. the third estates and some outcast from the nobility and clergy declared themselves the national assembly in the tennis court. they were locked out by the king so they headed to the tennis court and made an oath to meet every day till the constitution was made.

    On this day the women from Paris participated in a march to Versailles. This riot was one of the first stages of the revolution. these women marched to the palace and killed many of the guards to then put their heads on sticks. They searched the palace for Louis and Marie and eventually found them. they were forced to walk with them to Paris which became their new home.

    The directory was the government during the beginning if the revolution. It consisted of five people that controlled the committee of safety. They were in control from November 2nd 1795 to November 10th 1799.

    his was a meting of the three estates the clergy, nobility, and the rest of the people commoners. This was the first time the king has a meeting with all 3 estates. when the king called the Estates General many saw the start of the revolution because the monarchy was collapsing. During this meting they requested a break in which the third estate went outside. The king locked the doors to prevent them from returning so they went to the a tennis court and had the tennis court oath.

The directory told napoleon to lead on the invasion to Britain which he requested one in Egypt to end Britain trade with India.

    Months before napoleon was in prisoned in the island of Elba. he then retuned to France he then took over again. In his return to power he went to war with Austria, Russia, Prussia, and great Britain which was the battle of waterloo were he lost. France was forced into a peace treaty and an agreement that no Bonaparte can rule again.
