My First Phone
While many of the students around me had received a cell phone before this I was extremely excited to receive on for my birthday. It was great that I was able to call my friends where ever I was. It also made life a great amount easier, ensuring there is always a way for me to communicate with my parents while is was a practices and classes.

First Computer Class
In middle school we were required to take a computer class. In this class we learned how to email, make a web-page, as well as understand the basic components of the Microsoft programs. Image form Wikimedia -
1st Online Class
My junior year of high school I was given the opportunity to take an online college class. This was important for me because it was the first time that I understood how important the internet would be for me in college and the future.

1st Laptop
For my high school graduation I received a laptop from my grandparents for college. This was an exciting time because before this all we had was a desktop that had on internet connection.

Technology in Schools
As I got out of college and began going into schools more often I notice that dramatic change in the technology in the classroom. The elementary school I currently work in each student has their own iPad to work on.
