This was a website that acted like a social media site for kids, no pictures or posts were used, but you could interact with others and take care of animated pets online -
AIM screen name
I created my first AIM screen name (AOL Instant Messenger). This was really big back in my day, instant chatting. Now I think back at all of us in 5th and 6th grade chatting with each other on computers sounds crazy. -
Myspace
Myspace became really big, I had an account in Junior High. It came before Facebook and really paved the way for it. -
Cell Phone
I got my first cell phone in 8th grade, it was a brick and the screen was in black and white. Each text message cost money. There were no apps and it had limited calls per month.
