Summer Reading- Friday Night LIghts
I would rate this novel 4 out of 5 stars. This book was "O.K" because I personally like fast paced books and this book was everything BUT fast paced the plot of this story developed TERRIBLY slow... But the reason I kind of liked this book was because it was about football... And when there was action in the book it was intense -
The Outsiders
5 out of 5 I rate this book 5 out of 5 because it was really intense at certain parts and when there wasn't any action happening, the story keeps you interested. -
1st Workshop Novel- Stormbreaker
I would rate this novel- 5 out of 5 stars I liked this book, because it wasn't too slow and it also involved military like actions. Also those who like spy type books, you'd like this book. -
2nd Workshop novel- Enders Game
I rate this book 5 out of 5 I really liked this book, because before reading this book i saw the movie and the book follows with the movie and if anything the book is a little bit more intense then the movie. -
Lit Circle Novel- Hatchet
I would rate this book 5 out of 5 mainly because it has to do with a teenage boy having to survive in the canadian woods by himself after a plane crash. This book is really realistic and action packed and even a little funny! (When he gets attacked by a moose.) But this is a really good book and id recommend it to a lot of people. -
3rd Workshop novel- The Maze Runner
I rate this book 5 out of 5. This book was so good that I read the whole series... Three times! All of the books in the Maze Runner series are action packed, and have a very interesting story line. -
The Giver
I rate this book 4 out of 5. I'm giving it this rating because, yes it has a good story line and at certain times there is action involved, the plot tends to develop slowly a lot in this book and if you really know one thing about me i's that I do NOT like reading slow books. -
Self Assesment
I have grown in many ways this year. One way I have grown as a reader is that now i'm not afraid to read longer books, and even if its a book i'm not necessarily into I still read it. A goal I would like to set for next year is to read at least 20 Pretty long books. The reason I want to set this goal is to prove to MYSELF that I can do well in school and even in life if I just stick to my goal and DO NOT give up...
