    I would rate this novel 9 out of 10 stars. The conflict of WONDERSTRUCK is that a boy named Ben is struck by lighting and severely damages his eardrums, leaving unable to hear. Ben is all alone with neither of his parents to assist him with his now disability and he feels as if he should find his long lost father, which left his at birth. He must now use the multiple clues left behind by his father to learn his whereabouts, which he knowns will be no simple feat to accomplish

    I would rate this novel 5 out of 10 stars. In this story a boy from a rich family named Bruno moves into a new home which is very close to a gigantic, mysterious fence. One day Bruno decides to go for a jog along the fence and runs into a small, weak, and dirty boy in striped pajamas, who is on the other side of the fence. Bruno begins to meet this boy everyday as they are very fond of each other, but their friendship struggles because of the fence in between them.

    I would rate this novel 7 out of 10 stars. This novel takes places in a town which is divided into the East and West side, or the Greasers and Socials sides. The Greaser side was made up of the lower class people, which were considered dangerous and poor. The Social side was made up of the upper class folk, which nice cars and wealthy families.

    I would rate this novel 4 out of 10 stars. In LOSER a special boy named Zinkoff is finally going into kindergarten and is very excited. The novel allows the reader to learn about ZInkoff's first year of school and all of the adventures or things he runs into. This includes field day, getting in trouble with the teacher, and making new friends.

    I would rate this novel 4 out of 10 stars, simply because I feel that the ending of this interesting survival story was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! In Hatchet a boy named Brian is alone on a plane which crash lands into the middle of nowhere. Brian is forced to use his skills and any of his remaining belongings to survive in the wilderness. Brian encounters struggles with wildlife, food, shelter, and mother nature. Will he live long enough to eventually be rescued?

    I would rate this novel 8 out of 10 stars. This is an extremely interesting novel, involving an amazing boy called Maniac, who runs away from his home and enters a segregated town. In this town Maniac not only demonstrates his fantastic ability by enduring any challenge thrown at his, but at the same time, brings the white and black sides of the town together as a unified community.

    I would rate this novel 6 out of 10 stars. In this novel a boy, Hugo Cabret, who lost his parents, works towards fixing an automaton with the hopes to discover a message left by his father. However, Hugo later learns that there a further history behind this mysterious automaton and discovers a handful of secrets.

    Class Novel - The Giver
    I would rate this novel 7 out of 10 stars, despite having an extremely interesting concept, this novel's ending really killed it for me. Jonas, a twelve year old boy, lives in a community which is perceived to be a completely perfect. This community eliminated all things possibly wrong with our community today, leaving all people in the community with absolutely zero knowledge about the different past, except for one man called the Giver.
