My first encounter with a camera. My mom loves to take a picture of me using her camera een up until now,that's why I also love to capture every things and every moment that I don't want to forget. -
Television
My first encounter with a televison. When i was still a kid i always watch cartoons and animals on TV alone or with my friends. Up until now, I still watch cartoons because it reminds me of my amazing childhood. -
Educational Chart
My mom is a teacher so at a very young age, she already taught me a lot of educational stuff. The walls of my room are full of educational chart. For me, this type of media is very helpful to help children develop their cognitive skills at a very young age. -
Radio
Lullabies will always put babies to sleep. My first encounter of radio was when I was 2 years old. My Mom will play mellow songs and it will put me into sleep. Radio is a very helpful media for me since news can be broadcasted in the radio. -
Telephone
My first encounter with a telephone. During that year, I always call my best friend after I went to school to ask how was her day and ask her about other stuff. -
Compact Disk
I had my first ever CD of my favorite movie. We always watch it together with my friends and imagined that we were part of that movie. This media amazes me before because it can store more than one movie. -
Portable CD Player
My brother owns a portable player and he let me borrow it. A CD is inserted inside and it will play a song. My childhood was nice because of this. -
Newspaper
My teacher in English tasked us to make a collage using newspaper. That was my first encounter with newspaper. Printed news before were better for me because there are no fake news on it and it also have a comic that I enjoy reading up until now. -
Computer
My mom bought a computer, and that was the year i first used and played a computer. I find it hard at first but later on, i was already addicted in playing it. I played the games in Encarta Kids so Miyah's first encounter with computer is educational. -
Early Social Media
I made my social media accounts like friendster, yahoo mail and facebook. I don't have any idea what social media is, but I love to use it because i can communicate with my family abroad. -
Nintendo
I used to play video games with my brother and cousins and that was my first encounter with Nintendo. It is an electronic device used to play online games. -
Keypad Cellphone
I had my first ever keypad cellphone. I was really happy at that time because i can contact my friends anytime and for me it was convenient also because i can play, capture pictures, and communicate in just one device. -
Laptop
My brother would let me borrow his laptop so I can watch movies. Before, I thought that the purpose of laptop is for only watching movies but now it an essential for a student like me. -
Magazines
It was the year i love to collect magazines. it keeps me entertained and I can learn something from it especially about fashion. -
Smartphone
I won a competition during that year and my parents bought me a smartphone as reward. I was so happy back then. I mainly used it to communicate, play games and play music. Nowadays, smartphone is very convenient and I can't live without it already. -
SD card
Before, cellphones can only store megabytes unlike now it can have 16gb of internal storage. SD card was used to store different files. I have one before at it was very useful. -
Drone
It was during University Days 2017 that I first encountered a drone. I was very amazed by it. It is very perfect for aerial shots.
