My Life As A Reader.

Go Dog Go
by P.D. Eastman
My most favorite book ever! I never got bored listening to this book. It was the first book I could read because it was read to me so many times I had it memorized. -
Magic Treehouse Book Series
by Mary Pope Osborne
First chapter book that I was actually interested in. I realized after reading these books that I liked this author's writing and I read many of her books. I became a better reader from reading stories that I liked. -
Diary of a Wimpy Kid
by Jeff Kinney
The books that I liked to read before bed by myself. I would read these books and laugh out loud. I thought they were really funny and I looked forward to reading them. These were the first books that nobody had to ask me to read. -
Percy Jackson and the Olympians Book Series
by Rick Riordan. The first books series that I read all of the books. These books had a bigger vocabulary than I was used to and sometimes I had to ask my parents what words meant. I liked that these seemed like something an older kid or an adult would read. -
Anthem
by Ayn Rand. Book that I read in 9th grade in my language arts class. I liked it a lot. Reading this book and analyzing the meaning of it made me realize that books can carry powerful messages. I had to think deeper about the meaning of what was written.
