On a cold winter in Chicago, I was in Mexico visiting my grandmother for the first time. Mexico was like paradise, they had everything from mountains to mountain lions. Riding a horse for the first time was a special moment for me because it made me proud with a lot of pride to be Mexican. -
Meeting Walt Disneys World
I've only been to Disney World once, but even though I was 4 years old, I remember every last bit of it. -
Niagra Falls
I've gone to Niagra falls twice, but I remember this date because I scared my mom to death when I almost jumped into the water. I realize now being a kid who makes stupid decisions isn't the best way in life.. -
Paradise
My first time in Cancun, and the best place I have ever visited. I visited 1 of the 7 wonders in the world and it was incredible. -
Cinderella Man
When this movie came out to the movie theatres, I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know what the Great Depression was or what boxing was besides a sport. This movie taught me that even when times are hard, their will always be a way to get out the impossible. -
Escaping Death
My 2nd time in Cancun was just as amazing as the first time, but as hurricane season was just approaching, 2 days before a catergory 4 hurricane hit Cancun my family were on a plane back to Chicago. The same hotel we stayed in was 1 of a few hotels which was destroyed by the strong winds of the hurricane. -
The Pursuit of Happyness
When the movie came out, I knew it was based on a true story. The story touched me, and it made me realize that good things happen to good people. Not all the time, but being good can lead to big things. -
TurnAround
I was a bad kid back then, I didn't care about school and I didn't care about the rules. I wanted to be the class clown, and I wanted to be the popular one. On this day my mom saw my progress report, and she cried. My parents never hit me, but that day my mom hit me with words of inspiration. Since that day I promised my parents that I will be the best that I can be and work hard to get to the top. 2 months later I finished in the HonorRoll. -

Superbowl XLI, the Indianapolis Colts defeat the Chicgao Bears with a final score of 29-17. The game might have left Chicago crying on their knees, but since that game I have loved the Chicago Bears ever since, and always will. -
Getting a Brother.
Koko might not be the best dog in the world, but he might just be one of the smartest. Potty trained at 2 months, understands 3 languages(English, Spanish, Portuguese), and understands commands when given. -
Falling in Love.
Bayern Munich 0 - 2 Internazionale
With 2 goals from Diego Milito coming in the 35th and 70th minute, Inter Milan winvtheir 3rd UEFA Champions League, and their first since 1965. The game was not only spectacular, it made me fall in love with the sport we call Futbol. -
Winning City Championship
I was able to expierence winning 8th grade City National Softball Championship with my school. I was even happier that I was Captian of the team. -
My 2nd Favorite City.
Washington D.C. was a beautiful, I loved visiting and just getting the feeling of stepping right next to the Lincoln Memorial. -
Grandmothers Death
Growing up I never met my grandfathers because they had both died before I was born, so I grew up knowing both of my Grandmothers. I never knew my Grandmothers birthday, but the day she past away affected me deeply, then I found out her birthday was on Halloween. -
1st in the Family.
My sister is the first, and till this day the only person in my moms side to graduate from college. She inspires me to be like her, to follow her footsteps and be the 2nd to graduate. -
Graduating Heaven
7th and 8th grade were the 2 best years of my life. Made some really awesome friends that i'm still in touch with and the teachers loved me. Straight A's for 2 years, and City Champions with the Softball team. -
Getting into IBCC
At first, I thought this was not going to catch my attention and did not interest me at all. My mother coonvinced me to do IBCC because it was going to open up a new world with endless opertunities for me. -
La Decima
On this day, I cried with tears of joy. Real Madrid won their 10th UEFA Champions League with a last minute goal from Sergio Ramos to tie the game which would force over-time. In over-time Real Madrid beat Atletico Madrid 4-1. -
What drove me to be what I want to be.
On my recent and 3rd trip to Cancun, I was inspired by something to become the Mayor of Chicago and make it the best city in the world.
