I was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona at 12:22 PM on the 2nd of May 1997. I was pretty fat. -
Moved to Gilbert
I moved with my parents to a one-story house in the Summer Meadows neighborhood in the western part of Gilbert, a few blocks away from Mesquite. We still leave here. -
First Sentence
I'm unclear as to what my first words were, but my first sentence came when I was about a year and half years old. It being "Gimme the keys!" -
Alex's Birth
My brother, Alex was born at the same hospital as I was. He wasn't as fat. -
Pre-School
I was enrolled in Pre-School at Harris elementary. I remember enjoying it a lot. There were tons of cool art projects and we got to play with toys all the time. -
Alex's Autism Diagnosis

Alex was diagnosed with a severe case of Autism. He lost whatever ability he had to talk, began to have sensory issues, and lost much of his motor skills. He was able to regain some of his motor skills and get past a lot of sensory issues, but he still cannot talk. -
Kindergarten
After trying to sign me up for 1st grade, but getting rejected because my previous Kindergarten homeshooling wasn't "accredited", I had to repeat Kindergarten at a private school called Desert Sun. I also enjoyed it a lot. A lot of my early understanding of math and love of reading camefrom here. -
1st grade
My parents enrolled me in an elementary school in Tempe because the district had a program for kids with Autism like my brother, and it made sense for them to have us both at the same school. -
Kiko
Learn More About Labradoodles
Our family finally got a dog at this point in time. We ended up with a nearly year old labradoodle (labrador-poodle mix) named Kiko. Although nervous upon arrival, he became extremely hyper after a few days. Over the next several years, he mellowed out, and he's still part of the family to this day. -
San Diego

My first memorable vacation besides going to a cabin in Greer every year up to 2009 was going to San Diego in 2007. I went there once at age 1 but couldn't remember anything. But when I went for the second time this year, I was blown away. The weather was perfect. Everything was green, and the ocean was amazing. This was probably one of my first truly eye opening trips. -
Middle School

I spent middle school at Connolly Middle School. I went there for all three years (6-8) and it was great sometimes, but total hell in others. I learned a lot during these three years, made some friends, some enemies, and had teachers good and bad. -
First Cell Phone
I got my first cell phone when I was 13. It was a bright red Samsung phone with a sliding keyboard. It was mediocre for its day, but I was impressed with it. Until a few years later when I craved a smartphone. -
Boston
I signed up to go to Boston with some honors students at Connolly, and we where there from 30 May to 3 June. We went to every historical place we could such as the Kennedy Library, Lexington and Concord, Faneuil Hall, and many others. We also saw some universities like Harvard and MIT. This was my first time on the east coast and I'll never forget it. Boston is one of the best cities I've been to. -
High School
I started high school at Gilbert Classical Academy here in the district. It was a small school with all honors classes and an enormous workload. I was in the cross country team, speech and debate team, yearbook club, and newspaper club. I went here for my freshman and sophomore year. -
Started Playing Guitar
The First Song I LearnedAfter thinking about it, but never actually doing it, I finally got the inspiration to pick up a guitar when I was 16. My grandfather gave me one of his, an acoustic steel-string Ibanez. I learned mostly on my own with the internet, but I took a class at GCA for my sophomore year and learned a lot there. I eventually got an electric guitar in March of the next year and played at a recital at my school with it. I still play whenever I can. -
First Job
After unsuccessfully shopping around at fast food places, stores and the like. I found a job that was flexible and not too grueling. It was working at Arizona Autism United as an assistant therapist. My main client is my brother, and my main goal is to help those with Autism build language and motor skills through activities. -
Driver's License
I went to the DMV early in the morning after months of preparation to take my driving test. I passed with an 84. -
Changed Schools
I left GCA in order to have access to a wider variety of classes, meet more people, and escape the unnecessarily unrelenting mountain of homework that didn't help us learn much. I went to Mesquite to be academically challenged, but not to the point of insanity. I ended up joining the creative writing club and guitar club, and I'm taking AP English, AP Psych, APUSH, Pre-calc, and physics, as well as this class.
