    Prenatal Development and Birth
After two solid days of my poor mother being in labor, I was welcomed into the world at 4:36 AM.

  • The First Two Years: Biosocial Development

First full night of sleep at 6 weeks old.
  • Period: to

    Early Childhood

  • Cognitive Development

At age 4, I learned how to tie my shoes.
  • Biosocial Development

At age 5, I weighed 39.5 pounds and was 41" tall.
  • Psychosocial Development

My dog, Bonnie, passed away when I was 5.
  • Period: to

    Middle Childhood

  • Biosocial Development

At age 8, I started playing soccer, which lasted until my adolescent years.
  • Cognitive Development

At age 8, I switched from a private to a public school; many differences were observed and I had to adapt to this new type of school system.
  • Psychosocial Development

In 5th grade, I was voted as the social butterfly.
  • Period: to

    Adolescence

  • Biosocial Development

My parents went through a divorce when I was in 6th grade (age 12). I was slightly relieved because my parents hardly acted like they loved each other and were always arguing.
  • Psychosocial Development

The experience that forever changed my life: The Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Playoff game. From June 13, 2002 to the end of my life, I will always be able to recall this game and my undevoted (slightly crazy-obsessive) love and attention for hockey. December 31, 2004:
At the age of 15, my mother and step-father, Dennis, married in Las Vegas. With my biological father acting more like an uncle to my brother and me, I would find out shortly how much Dennis positively influences me.
  • Cognitive Development

Life's biggest concerns at the age of 16 were: passing my road test to obtain my license and the next time I could see my "high-school sweetheart".
One year later 2007: Life's biggest concern at the age of 17 was shifted from getting a 4.0 to coming up with a reason to not go to school and face my bully.

One year later 2008: Life's biggest concern was adjusting to my new school, where no one would bully me, nor ever know who I was.
  • Cognitive Development

I entered Schoolcraft College as a fresh freshman with the goal of graduating the Fire Academy. Six semesters later (2012): I found myself dropping out and not having a clue as to what I wanted to do. January (2013): I went back to Schoolcraft with the succession of my main goals- obtaining my Associate's degree and getting accepted into Oakland University. August (2015):
I will be graduating from Oakland University with my BSW and working towards my Masters.

    Emerging Adulthood

  • Biosocial Development

At the age of 20, I found myself head-over-heals in-love with Jeremy Dean . Little did I know, this would allow for a great amount of anxiety and cause me to forget about my happiness. February 17, 2012:
The relationship between Jeremy and myself ended; however, at this moment of letting him go my life finally began. This is the time I would focus on ME; with 2 full-time jobs and finding the energy to workout everyday, I would learn about all of my capabilities.
  • Psychosocial Development

At the age of 22, I moved into an apartment and had to figure life out for myself (caused from the hardship of my former relationship, the constant arguing with my parents, and deciding what I want to mean to the world).

Six months later: November 30, 2012
My parents allowed me to move back home and my relationship with them grew much stronger.
November 12, 2012: A new, healthy relationship with Kevin Christensen was established.
  • Biosocial Development

At the age of 25, my health habits have completely developed and will last throughout adulthood. Included in these health habits are: eating the right way, exercising, and, aside from getting regular physicals, since my mother had breast cancer, I will be getting regular mamograms as well.
  • Cognitive Development

Due to my step-dad being layed-off for a total of five years in 2008, this will cause me to be more intuitive to financial situations and issues that may arise throughout this time period. Also, due to my parent's divorce, getting married to the right spouse is going to be extremely crucial.
  • Period: to

    Adulthood

  • Psychosocial Development

At 26, I will have a job as a Social Worker with a primary focus on eliminating bullying with a poossible side of an engagement ring on my finger :).
In 2017 (27), I will get my book about past experiences with bullying published and hopefully achieve the goal of holding seminars and speaking at different schools.

In 2018 (28), I will possibly be married; traveling the world is also a goal, allowing for new experiences to take way.
In 2020 (age 30), I will settle down and have a child.
  • Biosocial Development

Because of my healthy and active lifestyle I have maintained throughout the timespan, I will be able to succeed in reducing the effects of aging.
  • Psychosocial Development

By the age of 65, I will finally retire; my schedule will allow for my husband and I to travel some more (assuming he is retired also) and watch our grandchild grow up.
  • Cognitive Development

With mental diseases, such as Alzheimer's, on the rise as age increases, I can only hope to maintain good mental stability. Maybe by then there will be a cure?
  • Period: to

    Late Adulthood

  • Epilogue: Death and Dying

I do not want to know when I am going to die, how I am going to die, or even think of death. For the sake of this assignment however, I wish for it to be the exact replica of "The Notebook" and die next to my husband, peacefully while we are sleeping.
