    Started takinng English classes at Kindergarten.

    First visit to New York City, student trip. Had to communicate in English with the tour guides.
    Saw the Twin Towers!!!

  • Codeswitching!!!

    In highschool I started codeswitching more and more everytime.

  • Social Networking!

    Started using social networking web pages like MySpace andFacebook.
    The pages are in English, but I usually communicate in Spanish with my family and friends in there, so most of the time Im reading in both languages at the same time.

  • Move to the USA

    -Started speaking English at home with husband to practice my conversational skills.
    -Eventually we started codemixing and codeswitching, specialy when I couldn't find the way to express in English a concept or idea.
    -Starded working, had to speak English all day.
