My Journey

  • My Birth

    My Birth
One rainy day on Feb. 11, 1998, I came into this world. I was born in Mercy San Jaun Hospital. My grandma, aunt, dad and big sister were all waiting for me to be delivered. When I came out, I was wide-eyed and alert. I looked my mom strainght the eyes and she knew instantly knew that we had bonded for life. (Sorry about the picture. I couldn't get a hold of a baby picture on the computer.)
  • Baptism

    Baptism
I was baptised on June 12, 2009. My friends and I had chosen to get baptised at Biel's Point in Folsom Lake. It was a pretty day. The air was warm, and the water clear. It could not have been more perfect. It was a beautiful experience for me, and it felt great to tell the world that I was giving my heart to God.
  • Catalina Island

    Catalina Island
In 7th grade, I took an education trip with my class to Catalina Island. I made so many unforgettable memories. I remember the many pods of dolphins swimming in the wake of our boat as we made our way towards the island in the distance. The beauty was indescribable; green hills, sparkling ocean, salty air and sea breeze. I learned so much that week, and can definately say I got a taste of God's creations.
  • The Death of Mrs. Altman

    The Death of Mrs. Altman
Mrs. Altman was a wonderful teacher. Everywhere she went, she radiated happiness and could put a smile upon anyone's face. While she was alive, she spent her time comforting and helping people who were going through rough times, and naturally gravitated to the students who were struggling or hurting. It was a shock to all of us when she suddenly was not here anymore. Even though her life was short, she brought many people together and made a great impact on the people she left behind.
  • Utah

    Utah
Last year, my class went on an education trip to Moab, Utah. That week is one of the best memories I have ever had. We went on long hikes everyday and saw bizarre and beautiful rock formations. Looking at them made me feel so small. That week, I grew closer to my friends and also to God. Something about being secluded from the busy life back home and being surrounded by God's beauty made me realize all over again that there really is a God who loves us and created amazing things for us.

    My First Day of Highschool
On my first day of highschool, I was pretty nervous. I didn't know what to expect, or how to act. I had prayed to God the night before to help me to have a good experience, and to help everthing to go smoothly. When I got there, I was at first a little shy. I meet many new people, and hoped that they would like me. It took me a while, maybe a couple of months, to feel totally comfortable, but now I am just enjoying my busy, but exciting highschool experience.
