Animal Jam
Animal Jam was probably the first game I ever got properly into, and I played it so much as a kid that my parents had to set time limits on the computer to get me off of it. Despite playing so much, I never got scammed even once (surprisingly) and spent most of my time playing the minigames and collecting things for the journey book instead. I was super into the youtuber community also so even when I wasn't playing it, I'd be watching someone who was. -
Minecraft
After begging my parents for months, my parents bought me Minecraft on my 10th birthday. Survival mode was too scary for me, so I always just played on creative mode and my favourite part was having the freedom to create anything I wanted. Later on, I started mostly playing on servers like Hypixel and I have many memories just playing minigames like the zombie infection one on repeat for hours every single day... -
Animal Crossing New Horizons
While Animal Crossing was really popular again around the start of the pandemic, I bought a Nintendo Switch specifically just to play it. My friend did the same thing, so we had a lot of fun talking about it together. It's a really relaxing game and I especially liked being able to customise everything and move around my own island freely. -
Genshin Impact
Genshin is honestly everything I wanted from all the games I enjoyed previously, the freedom of open world and being able to build your characters as strong as they can be appealed to me so much. I love the characters and the story, not to mention how visually beautiful everything is. I've made so many memories playing it with my friends and keeping up with the community, and I still play it almost every day. -
Bang Dream! Girls Band Party (Bandori)
Project Sekai was my first introduction to gacha rhythm games however Bandori won my heart from the moment I started playing it. The franchise is massive with so many different media but for the game itself, the gameplay is my favourite out of any rhythm game I've played. The music is always insanely good, and all of the characters are so likeable with their own interesting stories. There are so many things I love about this game and it's had a huge impact on my life since I got into it.
