Education Reform Act

The Smith Report
The Smith Report states that it is widely believed by pupils and teachers that the amount of effort required to achieve a single GCSE award in Mathematics is similar to the amount of effort required to gain two awards in English Language and Literature or to gain a Double Award in Science.
