Kindergarten
In 2011 was the first time I went to school. I studied at Oswaldo Cruz, and I was two years old at that time. The first teacher I met was Gabi, and I remember we made a tea party together. My bestfriend was Raquel, but then more kids joined and I made a new bestfriend Fernanda. I liked playing with costumes, and there were lots of nice activities and plenty of time to have fun. -
Kindergarten five
In kindergarten five, lots of new students joined the school. Some of them were Alexandre, Mari and João Pedro. They were all very nice. We learned how to write our names, and we also played a lot. I didn't really like school, because it was tiring. -
First grade
In first grade one more student joined. Her name was Antônia, and when she joined, we created a friend group. In our group there were five people: Me, Antônia, Fernanda, Raquel and Mari. We were all bestfriends. In the first grade we had a very nice teacher, and I was doing very well at school. -
Games
My favourite game was one we used to call "espetáculo". Some people would build the show, which was a track of pieces of a game. When you push one of them, all the others fall. There were security guards, police, and ticket sellers. When everything was done, everybody gathered around to see. Then, every body would say "es-pe-tá-cu-lo!" and then, one of the people that were building would push the first piece. I remember we asked the teachers to record it. -
Third grade
In the third grade we started having evaluative works. I remember I was super competitive and always wanted to be the best. I really loved getting good grades, and I got the highest grade possible in my report card.
I had a classmate named João Gabriel, and me and him would always do the works super fast to ser who did it first.
In 2018 me and my girl classmates really liked playing with slime, it was the thing of the moment. I remember we used to make some elastic bracelets too. -
Tests
On the third grade we started having tests. They weren’t like exams, just simple tests. I remember I was very nervous and also very happy. I thought it would be very cool to have tests and be like the older students.
On my very first test I got a ten! I think it was a Portuguese activity. -
Dance classes
I first started having dance classes when I was on the third grade. My parents wanted me to do some exercise so that’s what I chose. I had some classmates who took dance classes too! My teacher’s name was Alessandra, or Leka, and she is my physical education teacher nowadays. -
Cambridge
Cambridge exam was a very nice experience for me. I’ve always spoken english since I was little, so it wasn’t something hard.
We went by bus, and it had two floors. I sat next to Fernanda, and we kept drawing and practicing on a notebook. When it was time, I by mistake forgot my red pencil in my backpack. So, when I had to use it, I realized. I fixed that problem by mixing some colours, and just to make sure I wrote “red” there. In the end everything worked out, and I got a ten! -
Pandemic
When 2020 started, I didn’t really care much about this “covid” thing. Nowadays it’s a part of our lives.
When online classes started, I was super happy. I loved it so much. I had very fun moments during the pandemic, and it changed my life. I found people who like the same things as me, and made more friends.
If I could, I’d choose to go back to online classes. -
Fifth grade
Fifth grade was very nice. It started when we still had to to attend online classes, and ended in presencial class, again!
Even though I miss online class, I did enjoy coming back to school and meeting my classmates again. I had lots of fun with all my friends, because we all were always together. We had dinner once in OK center, after our last presentation at Oswaldo, and a “goodbye party” when school finished. Today, at Fundação, we’re not all classmates anymore. I really miss my group. -
Fundação/ seventh grade
I am now in the seventh grade, and not in Oswaldo anymore. As I am in the seventh grade, we all now attend Fundação.
My classmates are cool, but I can help but think about how my old group was. I am still with my best friends here, so I’m OK.
I started doing athletics and attending theatre classes. I really like having them, but it’s sad that they take my Monday afternoon away from me. Just kidding.
I'm having fun! I hope everyone has a great year here.
