This is one of the prides of my dad's life. Seoul National University among the top universities in Korea and it is a representation of the amount of studying he did as a kid.
Going to this university allowed him lots of opportunites in life, and one of these opportunities was the ability to travel to America and get a good job.

    I was born
Me being born in my parent's life was a big deal. First of all they had another son, and also now they had to make a choice. They now had to decide whether they wanted to raise me in America or Korea. Since they had both grown up here they made the tough choice of staying with what they knew, or go to a place many people talked about being better, and they decided to go.

Although Korean education was much more intense then American education this school really helped a lot. The school was basically new when I moved to Andover. This meant the school had good teachers, new school supplies, and a good facility.

This house was really the highlight of my time in America. I lived in this house for a majority of my life and is the place that I would call my main home. For my parents this was their first large investment in America. Previously we had lived in apartments and small houses and never made much commitment to the house. Buying this meant a commitment to America for at least a while.
  • Move back to Korea

This again was another decision by my dad to move back. After living in Korea for quite a bit he made the decision to go back. He had found a good job in Korea and therefore decided to move back. Then moving back there was reverse cultureshock after being exposed to the American Culture for a long time.
