I believe the day my brother was born was the day I knew I wanted to be a teacher, even though I was so young. -
Mom nannied for cousin
My mom began to nanny for my first born cousin, Sean. He was there everyday I got home from school. I also had the opportunity to babysit him and take care of him. -
Family friends from hockey
We began very good family friends with a family who has a child with cerebral pasly. I took this little boy under my wing and grew up with him. This expereince was very inspiring for me. -
Daycare job
I began to work at an in-home daycare with a family friend. It had children ranging from months old to 10 years old. I had to help the children with the homework and create activities for them. -
Preschool setting
Began working in a vocational preschool setting for high school. -
Accepted to Rivier College
I got accepted to go to Rivier College for education! I was so excited! -
High School Graduation
The day I graduated high school I was so excited to begin college and learn about something I am passionate about, TEACHING! -
Student Teaching
I began my student teaching. I was so excited to embark on my first journey of having complete control of a classroom on my own. I absolutely loved it. This experience only made me realize how much I want to teach. -
College Graduation
I could not believe I had finally made it! I was on my way to getting my own teaching position. Just another step closer.
