16yr old Sam comes home from Yale with news.He told the family about how he is going to join the war. This might change their lives forever. He is wearing his uniform while talking to his family which causes problems.Before, explaining about the war they are curious about why he has it on.Mr. Meeker wants him to stay out of the war, and to be loyal to the king, but Sam wants to be a rebel. -

Life Meeker and Sam argue. Sam feels that Life does to much, and he says "Don't come back until you look like my son, or get out." -
Destination: The Inn
Soo.....Sam ran away. arriving at Tom Warrups house, or inn whatever you may call it.Sam ran to Tom's house because he holds people to sleep. Tom doesn't care if people stay at his inn. Sam left to stay with Tom. -
Bye-Bye Bessy
Sam ran away, and he has taken the Brown Bess. It's a valuable possestion the family.The loyal Tim has promised not to tell Mr. Meeker.Is this sin worth lying for? Tim is scared that father and Sam might argue again ,and if they fight, this leads to Sam getting a beating. -
It's none of your buisness
I was on my way looking to deliver a concealed letter from Mr. Heron, a mysterious man who works for the British ,and Americans. I saw Betsy and we talked for a bit. I said some stuff by accident, and she saw the letter, took the letters, and threw them after she read them. It said that if it was delivered I could be trusted but I am not, I guess. -
Bye-Bye my Life.
So, in 1777 they found out that Life Meeker has died. He died on a British prison ship. An epidemic broke out of Cholera which is a fatal bacterial disease, is contagious and fatal.In his final words he stated that he forgave Sam, and that he is a hardheaded boy. -
The Hunger Games on Ice!
So, through the snow with oxen and a herd of cattle, Tim and Life Meeker had to go to trade at Verplanks Point. Life didn't want to take Tim but he had no choice. While traveling they meet the brother of Susanna Meeker and the cousin of Tim. The Platz. They have esccrts, or are suppose to have escorts to take Tim and Life to Verplanks Point. -

Sam and I were just talking when we heard some noise in the barn. Sam and I went out to look for whoever made the noise. Whilst looking for the cattle, I found that 3 cows were dead, and four ran away. The cattle thieves beat up Sam and took him to you.

Sam was shot by the guards. He lay on the floor, on flames,not dead until some guard put out of his misery. Mother was never the same again. -
My Adventure is coming to an end.
I have written this to you,to tell you about my life in Redding, Conneticut. My life is coming to an end, and this may be my last message.No...This is not a message, It's an adventure of my life. I'm now 64 and my brother and father died. The war took them both.I wish there was another way to win freedom without Sam and Father dying.
