    Holy Roman Empire Elected By Nobles

    The true date is unknown, but the earliest record I could find was that of a letter sent by Pope Innocent the third to a Duke of Zähringen that addressed the emperor voting system.
  • 1368

    Founding of Ming Dynasty

    Ming Taizu founded the Ming dynasty that incorporated Mongol beliefs despite the claims that it was based off native Chinese beliefs.
  • 1415

    Portuguese capture Cueta

    Henry the Navigator conquers Moroccan controlled Cueta during the Reconquista. This led to the creation of the Portuguese slave trade.
  • 1428

    Mexica Start Conquest to Build an Empire

    The Mexica/Aztecs conquered and sacrificed the majority of villages in present-day Mexico. The villages that weren't completely sacrificed were heavily taxed and forced to pay tribute.

    End of Zheng He's voyages

    Admiral Zheng He led many voyages to demonstrate the power of the Chinese navy. These concluded the year Admiral He died and the resources were repurposed for rebuilding the Great Wall.

    The Inca, led by Pachakuti, expanded outward from Cuzco. They employed siege tactics and incorporated villages and their cultures into the Inca empire.

    Mehmed the Second, ruler of the Ottomans conquered Constantinople. He transformed the Christian city into a Muslim one.

    Greatest leader of the Mughal empire. His armies controlled most of South Asia.

    Romanov was elected as leader of Russia during a time of uncertainty that followed the death of Tsar Ivan IV.
