the start

2500 BCE

https://method-behind-the-music.com/history/history/ music all started when the Indians made music to perform rituals for their religion. They used rocks and sticks to create the sound they needed for their rituals. Later when the Egyptians came along they made harps and flutes, music has a very slow changing way.

Instruments created

1500 BCE

Next was the guitar created by the Hittites, they used strings to make the sound and they used frets to change the pitch of the sound and little did they know that later on it would lead the famous instruments such as violins and other stringed instruments.

The Renaissance Years

1465 BCE

This was the most important time for music. the rules for music changed drastically, all musicians had to follow the new rules and if they didn't the music would never get published and would never be heard which if you were a musician was your worst fear especially since music was not as common as it is today.

The next step up

800 BCE

the first recorded piece of music was found, it was written in cuneiform and was a religious tune. By 700 B.C.E there were so many songs recorded with vocals and instruments and this made a whole new opportunity for the music generation which was accompaniment.

Middle ages Music

600 BCE

After the fall of Rome most music was created by the churches, in which case it was all religious music for the people of that church. Meanwhile in china their music was improving very quickly, they had hundreds of people performing for the dynasties.

classical musics roots

600 BCE

Greece was very famous for classical art so it was a small step up from art that classical music came along. A long gone mathematician had gone deep into the roots of how music created and the sound generated itself.
