Japan wants two things. The first thing they want is imperial power. The second thing they want is resources, why is to be expected. They invade China but they then surrender and China gains victory. -

This was an episode of rape by Japanese troops against the residents of Nanjing then the Capitol of the republic of China. This resulted in thousands of deaths. It also resulted in thousands of ra pings and lootings. -

This was a joint invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany, the free city of Danzig, the Soviet Union, and a small Slovak contingent that was the beginning of World War II in Europe which led to the victory of Germany and Soviet Union. -

This was a meeting of senior official of Nazi Germany held in Berlin, suburb of Wannsee. It was to ensure the cooperation of administrative leaders in various government departments of the final solution to the Jewish question. -

This was a battle in the pacific theatre of World War II. This means it happened in the ocean and was a naval battle. This battle only lasted 5 days. The Americans won. -

This included numerous strategic bombing missions and diversion raids during World War II. This led to the death of 42,600 deaths and 37,000 injuries. This also basically destroyed the city. -

This occurred in Normandy, France and resulted in an allied victory. This was the largest amphibious invasion. -

This battle resulted in an allied victory and cause pad the location to be occupied by the U.S. until 1972. This was also the largest amphibious battle of its era. This battle lasted almost 3 months. -

This occurred in Belgium, Luxembourg. This resulted in an allied victory and a German operational failure. This was a major German offensive campaign that caught the allied offenses off guard. -

This was when Soviet soldiers liberated concentration camps during war.thye helps may people who were sick and exhausted including prisoners. -
Operation Thunderclap
This was planned in August of 1944 and was never fulfilled although was reconsidered again in 1945. This would have been a huge attack that would have caused 222,000 deaths. It was thought unlikely to work. -
Battle of Iwo Jima
This took place on the volcano islands. The battle lasted less than a month. The U.S. took victory with its marines. The goal of this battle was to capture the islands. -
VE Day
This is a day that European allied nations and territories that were involved in World War II celebrate. His days marks the ending of the war in Europe and the victory over Japan. It is celebrated May 8th. -

The heads of the state were Harry s Truman, Winston Churchill, and Joseph Stalin. They agreed on German economy, punishments for war criminals and land boundaries. Thye wanted Japan to surrender and if they did not thye faced utter destruction. -
Dropping of the atomic bombs
The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombs dropped by the U.S. With permission from the United Kingdom. The bombing suspect happened in Japan. They ended in an allied victory. It lasted 4 days. -
VJ Day
This is a day of celebration of the end of World War II. August 15th was the day the news of surrender was announced to the world. The formal day of surrender is actually September 2nd which is now known as VJ Day.
