U.S. troops capture and burn the city of York
US troops captured and burned/destroyed the city of York and forced a troop of 700 British soildures to retreat and surrender the city.

Laura Secord
Laura Secord overheard American soildures (that she was forced to feed in her house) talking about their suprise attack on FitzGibbon and his army at Beaver Creek. The next morning she set out on her 17 mile journey through rough terrain to warn FitzGibbon about the attack. She eventually arrived in Beaver Creek on the 22nd of June.

British troops set fire to the White House
The British set fire to Washington, DC incluiding the white house in retaliation for the burning of York. President James Madison fled the Capital before the British troops arrived.

Treaty of Ghent
In Ghent Belgium, the treaty of ghent was signed by the British and Americans indicating that the war of 1812 is over and all conquored territory must be released to whover owned it first. Also commisions will be sent over to declair the American/Canadian border.
