Picasso's movement was called Cubism which entailed the ides of modernism in art which was to leave the conventions of realism. The modernist views were to provide new meaning and to illuminate worlds in a different way. As can be seen in the art piece there is a girl looking at herself in a mirror, what can be noted is that the reflection isn't the same.

    Catch 22 by Joseph Heller is one of the pioneer books to postmodernism literature. Postmodern literature focus's on historical issues as well as political issues based on the skepticism of the "truth". This book takes the focus of war (World War ll) and its absurdity. Although this book was mainly built upon postmodernism it also still have a few modernist elements. The book used a way of contradiction with its sequence and events along with a use of anti-logical dialogues.

This song in particular along with the band itself is known for having flipped popular culture during the time on its head. From Nirvana premiere it has brought grunge/alt styles of music into the spot light and mainstream.
