    Attack and Hijacking at Rome Airport
    Group of Palestinian gunmen firebombed the Pan Am Flight 110 before it took off, they then hijacked a Lufthansa airliner, which landed in Athens, Damascus, and finally landing in Kuwait. The firebombing killed 32 people and injuring 20 others, then two hostages from the Lufthansa were killed and 2 more were injured. Upon landing in Athens they demanded release of 2 other Palestinian gunmen release from prison and when landing in Kuwait gave the hostages for safe travel. PLO no responsiblity

    Bombing took place during a anti-fascist protest killing 8 people and injuring 102 others. Ordine Nuovo was the group behind this attack. They were a group of people trying to reform the Fascist Party in Italy.

    Bombing at the Jewish-owned Norfolk Hotel in Nairobi,Kenya
    A member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine blew up the dining hall of the Norfolk hotel killing 20 people and injuring more than 80 people, and destroying 25% of the hotel. The PFLP has denied any connection to the attack but the man who committed the attack was found to be a part of PFLP.

    Bombing of Marine Barracks, Beirut
    During the Lebanese Civil War two suicide bombers belonging to the group Islamic Jihad drove two seperate trucks filled with explosives into buildings housing U.S and French military forces. Islamic Jihad has claimed responsiblity for the attack which killed 307 people including the suicide bombers and injuring 75 other people.

    Trans World Airlines Flight 847 was hijacked by men from Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad held hostages for over two weeks demanding over 700 Shi'ite Muslims be released from Israel, and the release of the "Kuwait 17" Only one person was killed during this ordeal. Most of their demands were met and the hostages were released.

    A truck bomb blew up in the basement of the North Tower, killing 6 people and injuring 1,042 people. It was done by a group of terrorists who planned that the bomb would cause the North Tower to collapse and crash into the South Tower, but it failed to do so. They wanted the U.S to end all aid and diplomatic relations with Israel.

    Tupac Amaru Seizure of Diplomats
    Hundreds of high-level diplomats were taken hostage by members of the Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement. The MRTA members demanded the release of all MRTA members in prisons located in Peru, revisions of the neoliberal free market reform. Most hostages were released soon after but some were kept for up to 126 days and then being rescued during a raid by the Peruvian Armed Forces. All MRTA members involved were killed, two commandos, and one hostage.

    The bombing of the U.S embassy brought attention to Osama bin Laden and the his group al-Qaeda. Two trucks filled with expolsives, rammed into the U.S embassy in Tanzania and Kenya, killing a total of 224 people and injuring over 4,000 people. The reason for the attack was for revenge against the U.S for the torture of some members of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad.

    Al-Qaeda claimed responsiblity for the bombing of the USS Cole which claimed the lives of 17 sailors and injuring 39 others. The USS cole was refueling in the Aden harbor in Yemen when a small boat carrying explosives and two suicde bombers blew up on the port side of the ship.

    Suicide Bombings in Israel and the West Bank
    After the declaration of a cease-fire between Israeli targets and fundamentalist groups which included HAMAS and al-Fatah, one member from each of these two groups suicide bombed a bus, killing 1 Israeli and injured 2 others, and a grocery store, killing 1 Israeli and wounded 10 others. HAMAS declared it was a direct response to the killing of one of its members, and Al-Fatah not stating reason of attack.

    Four coordinated suicide bombings in the London Underground trains and a double decker bus. The total death toll hits at 52 victims and injured over 700 people. Al-Qaeda has claimed responseiblity but there is no proof of that. Two of the bombers motivation for the attacks is that they saw that they were becoming soldiers for the cause against Muslim oppression. Other two are unconfirmed. First suicide attack in the UK.
