Cable Communication Policy Act
The Company Communication Policy Act protected the personal information of the customer from the cable service providers. This act provided the companies with a written notice of privacy practices to a customer when they signed up. The customers were also given access to their personal information that was given to the cable company and know how long the cable company will hold their information.
I give this act a rank of C because, although the customers need to provide a good enough reason -
Electronic Communication Privacy Act
The Electronic Communication Privacy Act should be able to cover the entire World Wide Web system and require parental consent when needed. It clearly states its limits for the government to access personal information and limit its right of view to third-parties.
I give this act a rank of A because without this act everyone who wanted could have access to our personal information, thankfully this act protects us from those third-parties cyber-stalking us. -
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
This act requires for parental notification every time personal information is requested. It also creates a parental right to give parents access to the information their child has given a Web site.
I give this act a rank of B because children often give out their information without asking for permission or even notifying their parent that they gave information, with this act the parents can view the information their child has provided. -
Wireless Communication and Public Safety Act
This act promoted the use of 911 as a universal emergency number.It helped to assist a person how to approach emergency responce when public safety is not around. It made 911 a wireless number which can be dialed at any moment across the United States with no need of celluar service. I rank this act A+ because 911 is such a great help to anyone in need for help, a single 911 call can save a life. -
A.B. 1844 Social Media
The 2012 legislation was to protect employees from their employer. It prevents employers from requesting passwords or usernames to personal internet accounts like emails, banking and social networking sites.
I give this legislation A + because it really does protect people’s personal information and help it be private. -

This act provides with a operator of an online service to reveal their privacy policy and give the consumer an option to not have their personal information tracked. It also requires for the opreatore to tell whether a third-party is or may track with their services.
I rank this act with a B because as a consumer we have the right to deny for people to track our information and to know if strangers can have the ability to track our personal information. -
Obama's Privacy Bill of Right fot Consumers
This act gives the users control on how they want their personal infromation used on the internet. This also helps businesses to maintain the trust their consumers have in them . It will make it easier for the consumers to control online tracking.
I would rank this a A- because it helps both businesses and consumers.
