Sims 3
The Sims 3 is an important game to me because it was one of my first big fore-rays into gaming, and is effectively a big sandbox game, which played many big parts in my choice of my most played games in the future. The ability to create some characters, and then to set them loose on society and see what stupid stuff you can make them perform, whilst trying to make ends meet and make a massive, expansive home.

Team Fortress 2
Team Fortress 2 is a game that i will always hold close to my heart. The excellent art style of the game, with all the lovable characters, ontop of fantastically designed game mechanics. This game with their fantastic cast of 9 characters, all with their own unique specialties, alongside with all their game play intricacies and quirks, really just comes together to be a fantastic game. Its also a game i regularly played with my Dad, to build a deeper connection with him.

Minecraft
Minecraft is a game that i've put at least 500 hours into. Meanwhile, Modded Minecraft is a game i've put at least 5000 hours into. Its a fantastic freeroam sandbox game, that can be warped in many different ways thanks to the modding community on the game, transforming this mildly bland survival game, into absolutely anything, like a intricate factory game, with lots of mechanics and quirks, or a mystical medieval action rpg. Garry's Mod
Garry's Mod is the most sandbox game that could ever exist. With the ability to spawn assets from Half Life and other games built on the source engine, this game lets you do crazy things with assets from all of those games. Ontop of that, theres gamemodes that the community can mod ontop of that, such as Trouble in Terrorist Town, which transforms the game into the game into effectively Mafia. (Facepunch, 2006) -
Payday 2
Payday 2 is a crazy game. This is my favourite heisting game of all time. The crazy robberies you pull off with the most absurd tools available to you. You want to rob the white house with a bow and arrow? Sure go nuts. You want to bring a grenade launcher to a museum? Of course. Ontop of that, it has lots of interesting build crafting mechanics, like armor gating, yakuza speed running stealth, dodge, and so so much more

Warframe
Warframe is a game thats deep and meaningful to me since its the game with the most buildcrafting. Now what is buildcrafting? Its the ability to transform and morph any weapon, tool, character, pet into effectively anything else. The modding system is my favourite one in any video game, and its really deep with how far the mechanics can go. I really love how it makes me think exactly what im doing to all my tools at my disposal, and how useful they.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
This game is fantastic. With the crazy cinematography and lighting, alongside with the goofy stealth mechanics, it really is a fantastic all encompassing stealth game, that falls down in the last quarter because of budget cuts. But looking at only the first 3/4 of the game, it really is a masterpiece of storytelling, and definitely one of my favourite cinematic games which left really meaningful cutscenes and moments with me.

Grand Theft Auto Online
GTA Online is a game i really wanted to play for many years, after its initial release on PC. I was constantly watching gameplay videos of people doing races, or random stupid crap in the game. It was only much later into the games lifespan i was able to play it. And i played it so much when i got it, and still play it periodically to this day. The absurdly detailed gameplay mechanics, really keeps you coming back, especially with friends.
(Rockstar Games, 2015) -
Destiny 2
This game is my favourite game i hate. It has some of my favourite gameplay in a game, with lots of buildcrafting potential. However, the balancing really pigeon holes you into buildcrafting very little, alongside with a lack of things to grind, and eternally long frequently loading screens. However, when the gameplay grips you, you can be stuck there for 18 hour days playing solidly the whole time. Combined with puzzle content i can play with my friends, and some gorgeous areas. (Bungie, 2017) -
Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact is one of my favourite games to just chill and play. It's got a fantastic atmosphere, music and pretty deep game mechanics, with fantastic characters. Being in that world really brings me back to the simplicities of life that no other game really can.

Satisfactory
The ultimate strategy game. Of course not the most conventional strategy game like Total War or something. No, this is where you strategize about how to build a factory, and do tonnes of mathematics to optimise how everything runs in the factory. This game really is a sweet drug that keeps you coming back, starting a new save, and learning from the mistakes you made in prior saves.
(Coffee Stain Studios, 2019)
