Tyndall's Discovery
1870 John Tyndall's other discovery was in microbiology. He proved that microbes could be present in dust. Tyndall showed that dust carries germs or microbes. He concluded that if dust were absent, a sterile broth would remain sterile for infinity. So, this finding led to developing vaccines using weakened microbes.
