    Ohio was admitted to the Union which was important for the liberals and was progress for Manifest Destiny. Politically, this was also important because United States started to have more power.

    When the Industrial Revolution arrive to the United States, it came with a lot of economic benefits. The U.S.A had a major number of exports and individuals who own factories increased their incomes, the benefits where for the whole country, not only individuals.

    The Monroe Doctrine established that the Eastern hemisphere could not get involved with the Western hemisphere, this was a sign of nationalism from the U.S.A. This Doctrine had a big economic impact because the United States had a major expansion which benefited them.

    This event affected Mexico economically because it took away territory from the country, as well as Texas wanted to have slaves, which was strictly prohibited on the Mexican Constitution.
    Another aspect that affected Mexico in this event was the fact that they wouldn’t be able to trade or have any economic agreements with Texas, which made the country grow slowly. This was a conservative event because Texas didn't wanted to give up. (Liberalism)

    Mexico was one of the most invaded countries during this century, which led to huge amount of money-spending coming from this country, which directly affects its economy and development.
    After the war ended, Mexico had to pay France a compensation for losing the war, also, The Monroe Doctrine didn’t have any impact on Mexico’s defense because the US was experiencing a Civil War, so they couldn’t help Mexico. (Nationalism)

    Mexico had to give half of their territory to the US to cease the war from continuing. This affected Mexico because those states would have meant a lot of economic growth and production for the country, which largely harmed it.

    Abraham Lincoln was elected President, he was the first Republican President to win the elections. For the liberals, this political event was really important because Abraham Lincoln helped them with their liberal aims.

    The American Civil War began by a lot of reasons but the main one was because of slavery, the battle was between the north and the south. The north was liberal, it wanted civil rights and to abolish slavery, the south was conservative and wanted the opposite.

    This event had a significant political development because of the abolition of the Maximilian monarchy. It have an authoritarian ideology by the French as they wanted to reign Mexico with the pretext of the debt that we had with them but a liberal ideology in Mexico point of view.

Liberalism was an important ideology in this case because finally, there was freedom and civil rights for a lot of people.

    This event was really important because two small economies emerged as one big and strong economy. This economy became the capitalist economy we know now a days.

    This period was of ups and downs, his beginning was democratic but he turned it into authoritarian, his dictatorship was based on conservative and some liberal ideologies, he achieved at some point political stability and made Mexico a good place to live with a capitalist economy but it didn't benefit that much to the individuals.
