    After the liberals over through Santa Annas fall, Juarez and the liberals and made Ley Juarez (1855)this abolished the privileges of the clergy and the army and declared all citizens equal before the law, Ley Lerdo (1856) that forced civil and ecclesiastical corporations to sell houses and land, and Ley Iglesia (1857)it prohibited the collection of parish rights and objections.

    Napoleon convinces Maximiliano to go to Mexico to be emperor, but Benito Juarez was not liking that idea, that's why he refused any face to face time with Maximiliano until his death in 19th of June in 1867
