The Battle of the Alamo
An event of the Texas revolution that led to the Mexican American war. This battle ran for 13 days and it was between the Mexicans and Tejanos. The Mexicans led by General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna murdered the Texians defenders. I think that this is important because the mexicans massacre all Tejanos defenses. -
U.S.A Annexes Texas
When U.S annexed Texas, it was kind of the trigger to start off the war for disrespecting Mexico territory like that. Therefore the mexicans became furious with such disrespect and started war with U.S. I think this is important because it's how the war started.
